From my experience, they key to compatability with amphibians is their size. Being opportunistic feeders, they'll often eat anything that fits in their mouths. All my amphibs are approx the same size. (fire-bellied toads, spanish ribbed newts, and Chinese fire-bellied newts) At feeding time they do get a little 'excited' and will grab at each others appendages. But otherwise they all leave each other alone as they simply couldn't swallow each other very easily. | ||
