The same goes for mixing most reptiles, its possible to do in circomstances where two species are from the same region, dont fit in each others mouth's, and are very docile with little in the way of agressive tendencies, but still not a good idea, and usualy not neccesary. Avoid the temptation to "fill" space with various mixtures of animals it usualy leads to shorter lifespans (how many people do you know have actualy had all the members o fthese mixed tanks live for long periods? sure the odd individual does but....) Would you mix a Tiger and a Leopard just because there cats? There sort of similar in size and feeding habits but its not a good idea. | ||
