All the substrate/decorations/ plants etc. I had in there were all bought (and guaranteed safe) at the local pet store. But I took the ultra-cautious route, got rid of the jungle earth and moss, and replaced it with some new fern-type plants and some baked topsoil. I tore down the whole tank and started from scratch. He seems to enjoy it more, being able to walk around the bottom of the tank instead of hanging around near the lid and staying as far away from the floor as possible.
I probably should have taken that as a hint, it's still a learning process for me, I've only been keeping him since January, and I've never had a frog before. From now on, I won't take the word of some 15 year old stoner kid who works at the pet store anymore.
