Raising the moisture level in the whole enclosure to a high level does not allow the animal to hydroregulate. I use large plastic containers lined with damp (not wet) sphagnum moss with an entrance. In my experiences, allowing hydroregulation has been a great way to prevent and treat respitory, fungal and bacterial infections. The boxes work great during ecdysis and I have had only complete sheds since I started using them. I hope that helps. [ Hide Replies ]
