Handling Boas

Hello all, I recently purchased a baby columbian boa. This is my second boa, so I am not totally new to snakes, but I have a handling question...



I know this probably depends on the snake, but in general, how often can a boa tolerate being picked up and/or let out of his cage? For example, is handling several times a week ok? (not including feeding and digestion times of course).



He seems to be doing well and appears healthy, I was just wondering what people thought.
