If you want to handle your boa a lot, since it's a baby, work up to it gradually. It's fine to start with a few minutes each day, and work up to longer periods of time. As long as you allo9w undisturbed time fr digestion, and shedding this is fine, and I am sure the boa will coem to enjoy it more and more. I have one boa I call my double feature boa, because she can sleep through two full length feature length movies in a row on my lap. Most boa constrictors love being handled a lot after they are used to it.
