in the media, be it newspaper or TV. This would inform the public of what is truely dangerous or life threatening. If it don't tug on the heart strings or make your blood boil, it don't get a mention. Now perhaps if API or the other animals rights groups (need not mention) could place blame on an exotic animal or reptile by miscommunicating facts, it would most likely be picked up by national news, print or TV.
Oh well, sorry for the rant! Being from NC and dealing with these characters as we speak, you can appreciate my frustration.
