I have a stack of boaphile cages with the probe under one of the cages and right up against the heat tape. So I never have to move the probe. A ranco thermostat is set at 93 degrees in a fairly cool room and all the cages are right around 85 degrees on the warm sides. Jeff told me to set it up this way and it works perfect.
