I do it the exact same way as Denny. The corrugated cardboard I use has grooves and the probe fits in them perfect. I put tape over it and the boas never even know it's there. It's not a big hassle either. Here's a quick pic to give an example.


(Pardon that white stuff, I've got a female in this cage who shakes her tail everywhere and leaves this stuff behind)
