so, in both cases you would tend to see more color as the animal matures, and then it could intensify or stay the same, but generally it doesn't fall back..
the pastel helps it lighten up as it matures, and then kind of stay that way... the snake may darken as a whole in shades, but you'll always have that light, clean basetone and the contrast and such.
pastel adults tend to look like nicer normal yearlings and subadults.. stay crisp, nice, pretty..
