We do raise our own snake food which also includes mice and rats and chickens and rabbits. And although our rabbit and rat and pig colonies are all very extensive we have never considered marketing our snake food. As much as we would love to be able to help other herpers we never seem to have much beyond what we need ourselves. Even though our feeder colonies are always expanding, so are our snake colonies. So its a never ending cycle and we nearly never have any real surplus. Though, admittedly during breeding/egg laying season we do accumulate extra pigs which only the really big girls can eat. | ||
