the excess water could make it less firm. I am in NH and Cyrus sits with his head under the dripper for 20-30 minutes at a time a couple times a day. He also gets a shower every few days and humidifier run often. Sometimes he sits in the fog. I have his cage in an open "closet" with shower curtain on three sides to help. But he loves his jungle gym and cruise around a lot so I have to make sure he gets his fluids!
I haven't been on the forums much lately and don't; know some of the newer people - what species do you have and how old is he?
Oh, btw, Cyrus has learned to drink from a rodent dripper bottle - on occasion, anyway
