Ok so as I previsouly stated she orginally laid 29 eggs and 1 died back Dec so that left me with 28. Well over the past few days I have had many hatch and I amcurrently up to 20 babies, 4 cracked eggs with babies resting before stepping out and 4 others all "sweating" looking like I might have a 100% hatch rate. Not to sound too conceded but I think I did damn well considering this is my first clutch. Just with lots of research and a decent bit of money invested I have had tremendous success. One piece of advice is that instead of the usual seperating of the eggs (how most people incubate reptile eggs) I had read a few success stories of people grouping their eggs together in one clump in the incubation medium. Well, looks like those few reports were right and all of them have hatched or are showing signs of hatching with several days of each other! One quick question for those who have raised babies. I have not seen them feed on the fruit flies and it's hard for me to tell if they are eating them because many flies are dead and some find ways to escape (crafty little buggers). So should I just not worry and keep feeding them or try something else? Also, for their hydration I have just been spraying them several times a day, is this adequate? Thanks for your help!
