A year later he lost the sight in his good eye. I had started hand feeding him when I first got him because it was difficult for him to hunt. After he lost his sight completely we had quite a time getting him to eat. I started off by tapping his foot and he responded usually by chomping my finger. Eventually we got into a rythem where I woud move by his side and gently touch him, he would roll his tongue out an inch or so and I would put the cricket or whatever on the end of his tongue. It worked good and he had a great appetite.. To date he was my longest lived Panther at eight years and he was blind for the last four years of his life. Good luck with yours. [ Hide Replies ]
