"Going by numbers"? Numbers of what? Dog attacks by dogs labeled as Pit Bull Terriers that were some cross bred type dog or other type of Pit Bull looking dog because it is easier to call them that? You can't go by numbers when any dog that remotely looks like a Pit Bull, be it a Bull Dog, Bull Terrier, or Bull Mastiff, etc. is automatically catagorized as a Pit Bull Terrier because it looks muscular or "tough".
If you knew anything about real American Pit Bull Terriers you would not have such a closed minded view on them.
