Or course more kids get hurt by dogs than snakes. Why??? Because more people keep dogs and a dog is almost always kept as a member of the family where as a snake is confined to a cage. More people keeping dogs in the house while interacting with family members vs a snake confined to a cage? Of course the #s are lopsided.
I do believe that any animal warm or cold blooded has the potential to do harm and should never be taken for granted, especially a huge snake and a small kid!
