First, blood trails generally mean that a breeding has occurred, correct? Also, the other night I opened the tub my pair was in to check on them and the female hissed and tightened her coils to the point that the hide box they were in lifted a few inches. I'm pretty sure it was the female because she hates me and all other life and does this every third or fourth time I open her tub and the male has never hissed. At any rate I am concerned about my male being damaged. His tail seems tender (he recoils if I touch it) but the amount of blood in the tub this morning was minimal and I didn't see any swelling or obvious visible signs of damage so I am wondering what the more experienced think. Thanks in advance for any info. ----- "yeah, eagles have feathers hanging off of them too and I don't smoke --- out of them!" PS it was a dream catcher!
