Blood trails Do Not denote copulation. Sometimes when pairs are put together youll see the females almost instantly start bleeding and wagging their tails. It is an invitation to the male to get workin. Ive watched my females roam their cage while bleeding for hours immediately after introducing them.



If you want a semi reliable indication of copulation then look under the females tail at the cloaca. If the cloaca is folded in some, that usualy indicates copulation has taken place. This is not always apparent and therefore cannot be the only sign to denote whether copulation has happened. You wont always see the folded cloaca. At the same time a folded cloaca does not guarentee pregnancy whatsoever.
