Its funny that you posted this question. I responded this morning to a similair question on another forum. It sounds like you provide a nice variety, I think that's important.

I use TEKLAD rodent diet. I used to use the Purina Lab Diet, rodent diet but the feed store I bought it from went out of bussiness and I had to start special ordering it. I think most commercial rodent diets should be fairly comperable though. I aslo give them Timothy hay as a treat and source of fiber (They really seem to like it) and supplement their food with a variety of fruits and vegetables. Broccoli and apples always seem to be the first things eaten.
A few years ago I fed strickly the cheapest dog food that I could find. They ate it fine, but I decided to start spending a little more since the more nutrition my rats got, the more the snakes would get. SInce the switch I have noticed that the breeder rats and mice do seem healthier and longer lived.
