Souds like you have already gotten some good advice. The only thing I might suggest, that has worked very well for us in a similar situation, is to leave them for about 6-12 hours with their yolk and then with any that survive this time period, tie off the yolk about 1/2 inch away from the belly with some dental floss and remove it. Leave the floss long so that if the stump gets retracted in the belly you can gently remove the floss from it. If they try to crawl around with the big external yolk they will literally pull their insides out. If they manage to absorb all that yolk, it can harden in their belly and they will eventually die a slow death. Better to try to get a scrawny baby to eat than to loose one to a hard belly.
