Ok..This is the story. On December 31, 2006 I took this picture of the pair of Suris that have been going at it since early November. (as a frame of reference for size)

This second picture was taken two weeks later on January 14, 2007, when I "thought" I saw her looking kind of "footballish". I didn't post this at the time because I have jumped the gun a couple of times already (in my excitement and anticipation) and thought I saw ovulation when I didn't. (pardon the mess in the corner of the cage...it was cleaned up promptly after the pic)

The thing was that she wasn't HUGE like some of the ovulations I have seen but she did, at least to me, look bigger than she had appeared prior to this date. A couple of days later I really didn't notice any swelling so I thought that once again my mind was playing tricks on me. Then, last night about 3:00am I noticed that the belly scales at the tail appear to be blueing over the black markings!!! She is going into shed almost exactly one week after what I thought was a really nice swell! So my question is (of course) since this looks pretty by the book as far as timing. Should I consider this her post ovulation shed?

Side note is that the little male still is showing interest (he is turning out to be a star in the bedroom).

Opinions from those who have bred boas is welcomed.

Thanks for the long read.
