It has been a long time since I posted in here. I hope everyone is having a great year.

This post is awesome. After producing Motleys for the past 7 years, the litter that stood out the most was my first. There was no better feeling in the world. With the whole world waiting, I had a huge anxiety release when that first litter was born. Although I have produced Motleys consistently and have seen many different looks and colors and patterns over the years, the one that STICKS most in my mind is the first. I think the Second litter that stood out most in my mind was in 2002 when I produced the Super Motley, and had NO idea that it was the Super Motley. That was CRAZY....

The year 2007 is going to be an INCREDIBLE one for the Motley gene. There is going to be a lot of different looks, and genes attached to the trait.

Although 2006 was my best year in production of Motleys it was a bitter sweet year. It was my FIRST year producing with the loss of "NORMAN". RIP NORMAN.

Everyone who has a Columbian Motley can trace their genealogy back to my place and to Norman, and that is a cool feeling. That FIRST litter started it all. Norman died of a Stomach infection after the 2005 breeding season wore him out. He was the hardest working male I have ever owned, and he sired many litters. Scott Stahl did every test in the book to save Norman, and he tried his best. Scott told me he estimated him at the age of 17 Plus. He was the BEST snake I ever owned. Yes, when I was a kid and I lost a snake, I cried. Now that I am older, I can hold my emotions a little better when that happens, however, I couldn't when Norman left us. It STUNK....

So weather your first Motley experience was a many years ago, or last like the one posted, or NEXT year, I can promise it will be a feeling you'll never forget. The litter posted by boaphile is awesome. The feeling is awesome. Best of luck in your 2007 breeding season everyone.

Pictured is Norman with a Beautiful Pastel. A Super Motley, and one of my nice colored Hypo Motleys. ALL THANKS TO NORMAN.

Take Care, Jeremy Stone
