I just fed my female before her Post ovulation shed.

Was that a mistake? Will her body absorb the fertilized eggs now?

In the past I always waited until after the shed, but she seemed
very hungry and she was looking pretty skinny.

I seperated the male with the intention of feeding them both &
putting them back together later. They've been together for over
4 weeks. I've seen copulation on a number of different occasions.

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
