My gerbil was an abandoned pet that a lady just left at our store. He is old and his bottom is balding.
If you're in the San Diego area go up to the Escondido petco and ask for Kevin. He might know how to contact the lady who dropped them (there were 2 others) off, but I'm not sure. She dropped off quite a few illegal furry critters at the store for a while.
Otherwise you might hafta make a trip out of state to get one!
