Oh, and hamsters might work too.
If you end up getting a hamster (in order to use one for scenting you'll probably have to) get a "fancy black" male hamster. They're more expensive, but as far as hamsters go, about the sweetest things ever.
When you go to scent, hold the animal with a towel, because they absolutely HATE being used for such things and will squirm and bite.
