Posted by: RGliks at Wed Jan 31 13:42:10 2007 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by RGliks ] what do you guys use to clean your wooden logs and hide boxes..... i use a mix of 3% bleach and water.... after a scrub i stick the log/wood hide.. into the oven for a half hour at 175 degrees (F) to dry throughly... i use this same solution when spot cleaning the enclosure... i use purrel hand sanitizer before and after handling .... ive been using these methods with my monitors logs and enclosures since i got them 5 years ago... I dont see why it should be any different with my newly adopted boa.... but i figure i would post and be safe.... are these methods good? if not ...please suggest better methods... thanks... -Richy |
