Provent a mite is rediculously over priced and over rated. I found a fogger in the pesticed section (of any) big hardware store (like home depot, lows, menards, walmart, etc) called "Black Flag".......kills mosquitos, nats, etc. You want to make sure the main ingredient is Permethrin becuase thats what kills the little buggers. Try to pick a can that only has permethrin or no more than two chemicals. The stuff I use has a .200% conecentration of permethrin and .200% tetramethrin. Im not familiar with the tetramethrin but it doesnt seem to have any negative affect. Provent a mite has .50% permethrin (i think) but the black flag stuff works great. I had a bad infestation last year and the Bladck Flag I used kicked but. It only costs $4-5 and you get way more in a can.



Im only shareing this because Ive used it and it works. I took the risk with my animals and theyre all fine so use with confidance. Just make sure that what youre using really uses Permethrin as the main and little to nothing else. I dont know how other chemicals will affect your animals.
