Often times introducing a male to a female will cause one or both to go into a shed. This shed will, in a way, confirm the post-ovulation shed because the two sheds can be closer together than regular sheds with little or no food to create growth (normal cause for a shed). I view this as a good sign that her hormones are taking over.
