However, the citrus has not been crossed with any other line as of yet so nobody can say whether it is or isn't compatible. Yes it looks different than other lines but that is mainly due to the fact that GCR bred the original male citrus into a genetic high gold animal (which is why the citrus hets look sooooo good as well). They continued breeding the high golds into the line reinforcing the high gold coloring into the hypo animals. Having talked with Chris and Sheila many times about this, they think it will prove to be compatible as the founding male looked more like a blonde ghost than what they have made the morph into through strict selective breeding. The great thing about the genetics of ball pythons is what we have all learned, you can't assume anything until it is proven out. [ Hide Replies ]
