Some people let the parasites go untreated unless its showing an obvious affect on the chameleon's health. Others treat them every time.



If/since you are concerned, get a vet to do a fecal to see if there are any parasites. Sometimes even one fecal is not enough to determine if there are parasites...the parasites have to be shedding eggs generally. The odd time I have had a parasite come out with the poop.
