Micro chipping ball pythons

Does anyone microchip their balls ,knows of anyone else who does , and how the procedure is done. With this huge wave of gentic morph explosion we have espically in the het I think it would be a great idea to do this to keep track of the genetic make up of the balls that are kept in collections , any response or advice is welcome on this matter.
