I am confused too. Are you thinking that coloration has something to do with being gravid? This is hardly the case my dear. One of my female jamps laid 64 eggs two weeks ago and she was like any other Jampea. Meaning she changed colors as they all do...gravid or not. All of mine go from crappy brown to an olive green and to a silvery gray all within hours of each change. Sometimes they will stay like the picture you posted for days and then other times they are brown or the silvery gray for a span.
