ok, ive been around and owned herps for 10 years now. i just want to reasure myself on 2 things.
1. why would and adult female columbian whos been a great eatter for 8 years stop for 3 feedings in a row? husbandry has not changed. pregnancy is one thing that comes to mind...see ? 2 for that. she is my favorite snake so i dont want to start thinking cancer or anything yet...
2. how often have you looked at an adult female columbian and seen a short tail, assumed "its a girl" and been wrong? the girl in #1 situation has been probed, many times even to show others how, the snake in part 2 was looked at assumed a girl, and never confermed, i have also seen #2 stroking #1 with the tip or the tail and really thought nothing of it
im going to look up how soon to get radiographs on a pregnant columbian, and ill take her to work for one at that time, hopfully i fond a suprise clutch and not something bad!
