That is precisely why I say it is a lower end pastel (if at all). I was hoping the Boaphile would interject here, but I guess not. Every single pastel he sells isn't AAAA , there is a range. You have some amazing stunning pastels at one end of the pastels spectrum, and at the other end of pastels you have individuals like these. They are low end pastels.
Why does it matter so much? It's about quality not labels. Jeff has the right to define pastels anyway he wishes since he put in the 20 years of hard work breeding for the traits that make up the pastel. He's the one that says it is an "overall" wash of reduced black. If he felt differently he could have defined them as a wash of reduced black on the dorsal areas. He says overall.
