The absolute smallest tank a ball can be kept in is a 20L tank. Twenty gallons, long. I wouldn't recommend it if you have active snakes or very large snakes, just cause they seem cramped, but my lazy female did great in one for many years. Unless you have a gigantic ball or one that's constantly out and about, a 20L would probably be all you need per snake.

I honestly am fond of the vision cages, but they're not exactly the cheapest ever. I believe you can find them on the LLL Reptile site.
