I have bred a ton of Africans, mostlly concentrating on Tangangyikan's-i.e. Frontosas, brichardi...It is a fun hobby, I wish my BP's dropped eggs like these guys! If you have not seen them, check out the electric blue Jack Dempseys, they are, im my opinion, the most striking freshwater fish out there and hail from South America. I do a lot of saltwater stuff as well but cichlids were much less harsh on the pocket. Fish are fun, I still breed Endler's livebearers, some ancistrus plecos, frag corals, and have begun setup on my 300g stock tank for native sunfish and killies. Once the fish bug bites you, watch out!
