NEVER change both filters at the same time...looks like you are using Emperor 400's...GOOD!

Change one and then wait 2 weeks and change the other when you do it....Africans are VERY VERY sensitive to Ammonia and Nitrite spikes..

Crowd them, add a canister filter and put some Dither fish in there to break up territories!!!!!

Not too much salt....just as bit.....PH around 7.4ish is perfect.... put some driftwood in there too!

My fav African tank is 1,500 gallons in my store!
