A tear in the lining of the uterus from all the pressure of the slugs.It could have simply been stress.It would be interesting to do some research on the differences in body condtions in females that are having good litters and ones that are going to slug out. An Ultrasound would have to be used to tell what was going on. All and all it just shows how life threating a slugout can be and even full term normal pregnancies have their risks. There is risk when you breed and this can be the outcome! It isn't fun, but it's the risk we all take when decide to breed out animals | ||
