I know RDR posted on his 2005 clutch 18 that he thought one of them might be a combo butter lesser but given that we have since gotten the report that the apparent homozygous butter is also white I’m betting the snake in question was either a lesser or a butter and just a little odd looking. I don’t think he hit the combo in that small clutch and that a lesser butter will be pretty white like most all the other combos in this complex. Maybe someone hit the combo in 2006 or will in 2007.

The butter platys in RDR 2005 clutches 16 and 17 from butter X normal looking apparent daughter of platy tends to indicate that platy is a single extra gene seen so far on top of lesser, butter, and phantom to produce a diluted platy version of each. So the platys may just be one of the less white combos in the complex.
