The answer is a life's work. You could study the differences for the rest of your life. With that said, what is your purpose for knowing. Do you want a pet, a breeder, or? Some subspecies are harder to keep than others. I guess this will be your first boa. I recommend a Colombian, they are the most forgicving of culture mistakes. There are lots of beautiful morphs and pastels and patterns and all. I think would be a good place to start, but do study all the different kinds of boas. I don't recommend getting a Suri for your first boa either.
Good luck,
Caden
>>What is the difference between all of the types of red-tails? (suriname, columbian) I mean, I know that they come from different places, but i mean colors(patterns) and prices. I'm thinking about getting into red-tails.
