Good to see these posts for going down the right path, you may want to seek out someone who is working with the particular ssp. that you want to work with p-cause they will ask you what ssp. you plan on keeping and you must have experience with that ssp. as I recall. I only work with crotes and heloderma so it was pretty easy to focus on who/what I worked with for the 1000hours. BTW it took about 3 years to get the experience and go through the hoops BUT it is well worth it and the dedication speaks volumes about your intent on being prepared and legal.
