Wow! After all the names I had listed I can't believe I forgot the infamous Eight Ball! There are likely a few other's I left out. Naming something new is good silly fun.
Not to mention, that a name like SNOW is A LOT easier to market than Homozygous, Amelanistic, Axanthic Ball Python!!!
Something interesting to note:
With all of the names for this "yet-to-be-seen" combo morph, ( Super Cinny Pied Ball Python), you can bet this is a VERY popular project! Perhaps the anticipation of seeing a few of these and other Cinny or Black Pastel Crosses has helped to keep the prices where they belong on Cinnys and Blk Pastels.
If every breeder valued each type of Ball morph for their true future combo potential...no one would be able to complain about any price issues....on any morphs. Granted I understand supply and demand....But,
Let's face it. We breeders need to REALLY value our OWN animals if we prefer market stability. Enthusiasm is infectious. If we breeders hold the value of our animals for their future potential (with combo projects involving new and existing morphs), certainly our customers will place similar values on them. This attitude is what creates stability.
New hobbyists/customers like stability. It all begins with us. Reptile Keeping/Breeding...What a WONDERFUL ADDICTION!
