i am this close () to starting a breeding project with ball pythons and possibly colubrids. i am interested in getting a tub-rack to house them, because i think its one of the best ideas ever. however, i noticed that all tubs are commonly 4-6" high.
are snakes happy and healthy in those conditions? every snake ive owned ive kept in a traditional glass tank, with lots of things to climb on, and they often seemed to really enjoy climbing high. do they suffer any kind of stress from living in a low containter?
i realize that ball pythons are ground dwelling, but it seems strange to me to keep them somewhere they can not stretch up high if they wish. or am i just being a pansie about it?
