I live in southern texas and house mine outside all summer long. I havea misting system set up to go off 6 times a day(graden hose timer $30) when it's at it's hottest. I find hibiscus to be the best plant cause they grow like a weed in the hot sun and provide a lot of shade. I also hose them down with the hose a few times a day. (I soak them are a few mintues)

hope this helps. I would be worried about the night time temp where your at I make sure mine don't go below 60 at night.
