In response to this...What you tend to pay for is "bloodline" and "potential". All boas go thru changes in look as they mature. You can look at babies and try to distinguish which ones have the "potential" to look just as good (or perhaps better in some opinions) as they age. The fact is however that you cannot predict with any exacting accuracy what a baby will look like as an adult. "Bloodline" helps in the 'guess-timation' because you can look at a proven blood line's parents and siblings to see what the most likely result will be....sometimes the screamers as babies become very average adults...sometimes the "ugly ducklings" turn out to be some real head turners when they mature. That is part of the appeal of choosing your animal. There are no guarentees. It is fun to see where mother nature will take the looks of the babies you own
