Well, I checked out the Showcages and even considered buying one. But, their 48" Long by 24" wide cage is only 18" High. The cutout for the basking light is 8" tall inset into the cage. This leaves only 10" below the light for the basking spot, substrate, etc. I found this hard to believe since it seems a design flaw to me and all of the other sizes are 24" tall so I emailed them. They confirmed that this was correct. I think that it would be fine for breeders that often don't have furniture in their cages. But would never work for me.
