As the stems get longer you can give them structures to climb on and they'll travel all over. A lot of keepers hang the pots. Keeping any houseplant alive means repotting them periodically anyway. The plant will eventually outgrow its current pot and get root bound. You can change the soil when you give it a larger pot. Keeping plants healthy in a cham cage means giving them enough light, don't let the pot sit in a pool of water (like a pot saucer). Soggy roots will rot the plant and produce those little black gnats. And occasionally feeding them with a good houseplant fertilizer. Depending on the cage and room humidity you may need to water the plant itself once a week. Check the soil first...if the soil is dry down to the depth of your finger, water it. | ||
