went six months last year during which time he ate one medium rat with no ill effects. This year he has been off feed since sept except for one rat he ate after his first cop and a mouse and a small rat he ate last month. Another male went off feed for two months and now is on a regular schedule. In between them is every shade of the rainbow. Each snake is a little different when it comes to these things. As long as your snake looks healthy and is acting normal you shouldn't worry if it goes off feed in the winter.
