that there are two kinds of ball python that are called "granite".

Type one is a genetic granite which in my very novice opinion yours is not. These guys have a distinct spot break in their neck stripe an orangeish brown to their alien heads and shotgun blast speckling among other things. Type two, which I think yours is, are a random pattern variation with some light speckling. Either way, pretty pastel
