that the verified record is a 6'6" female but I've never seen the pics and I have no idea who recorded it. I remember that I used to have a field guide when I was a kid that claimed that Royal Pythons maxed out at 10'. The largest ball I've ever seen was a little over 5'. You have to take those older books with a grain of salt. 40' anacondas, 31' retics etc. etc.
